Welcome to Excitement! Car Magazine

Hi guys and welcome to our brand new Magazine: Excitement! Car Magazine. I have been working very hard for the last couple of months to bring together some of the most amazing automotive content from around Australia as well as around the world.

I have been in the drifting world for close to 6 years now and been playing around with Japanese cars for a lot longer. Some of you may know my red corolla which I have been building since 2005. You can see a lot of its progress through the years on the old Midnight Mechanics blog.

This magazine will be documenting the progression of my car as well as the other members of the Midnight Mechanics; Jason Murray, Jason Sherring, Nick Rombouts and Robert Tilbury..

We will be bringing content from across the country such as these shots from Sean Jarzynka in Tasmania. The majority of our content will be drifting and Japanese related but we will be covering many other aspects of the automotive world.

We will be bringing you exciting content regardless of geographic origin.

Whether it’s 4 cylinder, 8 cylinder, Japanese, German, American. There will be no limit.

Of course, as indicated we will be bringing you a lot of drifting.

With as much variety as possible.

Both nationally and internationally such as my visit to Gifu in Japan to meet MotorFIX.

Events such as JDM Style Tuning End of Month Meets will be regularly posted.

We will also be bringing a variety of events to you that have been shot only in film, such as the Classic Japanese Show & Shine at Lakeside.

There will be garage features…

…and a buttload of car features such as this immaculate G37.

Or Nathan McKenna’s sparkly 1200.

Of course, earlier this year I was given a great opportunity to get down to Eastern Creek to Shoot the 2011 World Time Attack Challenge. You can check all of our content covering the entire event right here.

I will be heading down there again next year hopefully with more contributing photographers to ensure the event is completely covered.
Our huge variety of content is only going to be getting better and better as we go. Just one example will be Kenny Chow’s photos from the Hellaflush Japan Meet at Fuji Speedway.
