World Time Attack Challenge
WHAT A WEEKEND!
We have only just arrived back in Queensland after an absolutely insane couple of days filled with time attack cars, trade stalls and of course, drifting. While we have plenty of Superlap content to bring to you over the next few weeks, the highlight for me has to be Team Orange’s Suenaga and Kumakubo, who tore up the track all weekend.
We will bring you an overview of the entire of the event this weekend, but for now, here is a shot of the boys cruising through the last corner at handshake distance. E!CM
Eastern Creek Track Extension | In Car With Jonathon Webb
Normally I would only show you guys videos that have been contributed by the original creator, but having been following the progress of the formerly named Eastern Creek I had to make an exception for this. A good friend of mine, Tim Hamilton, brought this video to my attention this week of Jonathon Webb driving a Radical through newly named Sydney Motorsport Park.
The new section of corners looks incredibly tight and very technical; quite contrary to the rest of the track. I’m very eager to check out the new section in person later this year during WTAC, even if the Superlap cars don’t attack these corners during their laps.
