Harry’s Diner Oldschool Reunion Night

Being the start of a long weekend last Friday night was boring, and I was looking for things to do. Much to my joy I found out that the old school night was on at Harry’s diner so I headed out. The turnout was huge with the mention of Street Machine photographers being there and it was definitely a great night. The lighting wasn’t the best in some areas however, and with the limited parking spaces, many cars were forced to leave or went and parked on the other side of the street.

Old school wasn’t specifically aimed at Muscle, which dominated the place, there was this sweet 1600 Coupe sitting down the back.

Cars poured in all night.

Cars also left frequently, so I didn’t get to see many up close.

Sitting outside the diner was a Torana with a 350 Chev in it, which rumbled the place when turned on. At one point they turned it on with someone in it and revved it. Very loud!

This 1958 El Camino was immaculate and had to be a favorite of the night.

Plenty of Impalas through the night, of all shapes and sizes.

This Impala was imported from America by its current owner.

Hot rods too of course.

Another common car at the meet were 1st gen Camaros.

Another Datsun with a great colour to it.

Later into the night a GT-R from Club Highrollers turned up.

And I’ll leave you with this Impala that turned up just as I was leaving.
