BIO: I’ve been into cars for longer than I can remember and in particular Japanese cars for just as long. I always aspired to somehow get myself into circuit racing at a young age however I also had an unyielding passion for drifting. In 2005 I bought my second car I ever owned which was a 1984 Ae71 Corolla. Over the years I have pushed, prodded, changed and even crashed the car and yet there is still more I want to do. Photography is something that I have been passionate about for a comparably shorter time yet my passion for both is almost equal.
CURRENT PHOTO KIT: At the moment I’m using Canon 5D MKI and a 40D. My lenses are a 17-40mm f/4L, 50mm f/1.4, 24-70mm f/2.8L II and 70-200mm f/2.8L and every now and then I hire out a 300mm f/2.8L (which I wish I could buy!). For those film geeks out there I also use a Canon EOS-1 original in Japan which was built in 1989.
CURRENT CAR/PROJECT: My current track car is a 4agze Ae71 corolla running a 12psi from a larger T3 pulley. My previous motor in the car was a 16v n/a 4age which I originally put in it in 2006. The car is completely set up to drift with Tein Coilovers up front, t3 adjustable LCA’s, ps arms as well as TRD shocks and spring in the back. I’m also running a 4.11 ratio diff centre.
