LOCATION: Sydney, Australia.

EDUCTION:  I am studying a Communications – Journalism degree and ideally want to pursue a career as an automotive journalist and presenter. Great tax deduction for owning race cars ;)

WEBSITE: I can’t settle on a blog name yet! Suggestions are encouraged…

BIO: Hmmm… Where to start! Well, when I was younger, I preferred to play with my brother’s slot cars than my sister’s Barbie dolls… My Dad picked up on this and eagerly nurtured the development of my interest.  In short, I have claimed many peewees and paddock bashers, submitted my brother’s 32 GT-R to my L plates, witnessed the long build of my father’s LX SS Torana and tortured my own cars on the track many times.

Whilst studying my initial degree of engineering, I worked in an aftermarket modification workshop learning much about the Godzilla and its rivals. I also started hosting at the Sydney Motor Show in 2006 and have done so every show since, proudly disproving the theory that the models know nothing about cars at all! I have traveled to Europe with my best friend and Pirelli Star Driver, Molly Taylor, following WRC and BRC rounds. In addition to this I have attended many motorsport events over the years, including ARC rounds, Superlap, Aust Touring Cars, Drifting, Nitro Champs and of course, the staple Muscle Car Masters on Father’s Day.

Highlights to date would be working at World Time Attack Challenge with MotiveDVD, running crazy in the pits interviewing drivers like David Epringham and Steve Glenney, and also getting up close and personal with my favourite time attack car, the Panspeed RX-7. Currently, I am the journalist for the Aust. Drifting GP and Track Battle Time Attack Series. I love working there as I get to interview all the drivers I have watched for a while, and suss out the up and coming newbies. I also work with some friends on a locally produced web and TVS aired show called SuperCar Spin, where we talk about developments in the world of exotic cars.

CURRENT CAR/PROJECT: I have an IS300 as a daily, and a tastefully modded R32 Gts-t for street and track use. Taking all my attention at the moment though is an IS200 targa tassie/tarmac rally car with a 1UZFE. Not sure yet whether I want to keep a tarmac set up or take it drifting instead.
