7Tune x Zen Garage WTAC Party
The most amazing thing about traveling interstate for different events is the people you meet. While all the action for World Time Attack Challenge at Sydney Motorsport Park was happening across the Friday and Saturday, the good lads at Zen Garage and 7Tune decided there would be no better way to spend their Thursday night than meeting up with like-minded people from across the world. Drivers, tuners, photographers and of course all round enthusiasts lined the walls of Zen Garage in Sydney.

The Downshift x JDMST & GYMKHANA MEET
Downshift have done it again to bring Brisbane its largest JDM and Euro meet, attracting 500+ cars out to Queensland Raceway for an afternoon of mingling and ogling the multitude of Japanese and Euro cars on display. So as to not to be caught out with lack of space and light like last time, the event was held earlier, in the large QR car park and on the weekend, making it easier for a larger amount of people to attend.
The FORGED Audi was an absolute show stopper. I had to get a bit pushy and clear the area so that I could get a shot without some mug walking up to it and getting his head in the way.
Downshift x JDM x Euro OPEN MEET at Queensland Raceway
I have to admit I had my questions when I first heard this month’s JDMST meet was going to be held at Queensland Raceway. The more you think about it, however the more sense it makes; a Private property in an area that won’t be affected by the noise, as well as being a place that 90% of people in the car scene know how to get to. Which was a good thing too; because the meet had to the largest JDMST meet I have ever seen!

Having only been in operation for half of the year, 2011 has been an incredible year for all of us at Excitement! Car Magazine!
In a very short time we have gained some very significant contributors who have been invaluable towards the success of the magazine. However, one of the greatest things that has helped us to point the magazine in the correct direction has been the feedback from you guys; the readers. As per usual Excitement! went down to support the local cars at our monthly JDMST meet.

It always excites me to head out to a JDM Style Tuning meet and scout the coolest cars in South-East Queensland. This particular JDMST meet was quite special as it was also crossed with Downshift Australia, which definitely drew some extra special cars to the event. My favourite of the night had to be this glorious JZS161 Aristo that I had also shot at the Queensland Raceway 24 hour Matsuri.

Just a quick teaser for you guys. Josh and I met up at the JDM Style Tuning Carseldine meet on Tuesday night and we have come back photos of the best of the best. We also did a few individual photo shoots of some cars on the night so be sure to keep your eye out for that!
