Just this Sunday past Josh and I took the trip up check out the private track day held by Lachlan Gassman. Until recently the only option for laying down your rubber was the main track which is quite a large, open track. The latest exciting addition to Queensland Raceway has been the short track which is essentially a very long skid pan. With the ability to have a number of different track configurations it makes for one awesome little track!
The winner Luke Fink from the first round of ADGP in Calder Park was back to prove he had what it takes to take the 2nd win of the series right here at Queensland Raceway.
Continuing on with our coverage of Queensland’s first ever 24-hour drift Matsuri.
Just this weekend past I took a flight down to Sydney to cover the World Time Attack Challenge. Having missed out on last years first annual event, I was very eager to make my way down this year! With cars from Japan such as the Pan Speed Rx-7 and Cyber Evo competing against Australian, New Zealand and American cars it made for a very exciting event!
Anyone who has any interest in drifting and E model corollas will have heard of MotorFIX.
For the last 6 years of building my Corolla, MotorFIX has been a constant and ever increasing inspiration for myself. I have always been in awe of every car that has had this workshop’s name associated with it. Whether it be a rusty corolla wagon or immaculate sedan that has been built by this crew.
