Luke Fink Takes Another Round | ADGP round 1
What a weekend at the first round of ADGP at Symmons Plains Raceway 2012. What seemed to be a horrible morning with all the rain, turned out to be an exciting and intense day with Luke Fink taking another round win. Even with engine troubles Luke still managed to pull though with some wild angles, including a reverse entry in his solo qualifying lap.

Dan Rasell has been absolutely killing it throughout 2011 and we will be watching him very closely through all of 2012. We are definitely looking forward to seeing what else he can pull out of his hat. For now, have a wallpaper of him practically reversing his car into the dipper at QR.

Excitement! Car Magazine | 2011 Wrap Up
Having only been in operation for half of the year, 2011 has been an incredible year for all of us at Excitement! Car Magazine!
In a very short time we have gained some very significant contributors who have been invaluable towards the success of the magazine. However, one of the greatest things that has helped us to point the magazine in the correct direction has been the feedback from you guys; the readers. An Unlikely Predator: Gareth Simpson’s Safari-Spec Evo
This year I have been fortunate enough to attend all rounds of the ADGP and Track Battle Time Attack series. At every event, the presence of drifters has heavily outweighed that of the ‘time attackers’. Recently however, at the final round of the series in Perth, the time attack field was strong, with one contender in particular arising as the crowd favourite for the whole event, and for myself personally, the entire series. With that in mind, let’s take a safari around Gareth Simpson’s zebra Evo.
Jonathon Barnes | ADGP Round 3 Coverage
I have received an awesome contribution from Round 3 of the Australian Drifting GP at Barbagallo by Jonathon Barnes. He has managed to get some stellar shots and has also written in with his overview of the action, so I will pass it over to him!
Jonathon Barnes: With the final event of the Australian Drifting GP held in Western Australia, it was by far the longest leg for many of the top drivers to attend from interstate. The local boys were indeed red hot favorites with the big names making a big impact during practice and qualifying.
Most of the cars throughout the event were very impressive to look at both on and off the track. But when it came to the competition side there was some close door to door action which is what every spectator likes to see, along with people pushing the limits and trying to do what is well known from Luke, getting close to the other competitor; Mitchell Bunney.

I have just found out about the Automotive Photography Awards tonight and have decided to re-tweak this image of Luke Fink that I took at the recent Round 2 of the Australian Drifting GP. The image will hopefully be up in a day or two, so check it out and wish me luck!

Australian Drifting GP at Queensland Raceway PT.2
With horrendous weather across most of South-East Queensland on Saturday there seemed little hope of sunshine for the Australian Drifting GP comp day on Sunday. Despite all odds the sun rose on Sunday morning with barely a cloud in the sky. There was plenty of smoke though!

The winner Luke Fink from the first round of ADGP in Calder Park was back to prove he had what it takes to take the 2nd win of the series right here at Queensland Raceway.

What an Amazing day of drifting at the Australian Drifting GP at Queensland Raceway! A huge congratulations goes to Luke Fink in the Holfords S14 being the round winner for the second time in a row!
I’d like to give a very special mention to Dan Rasell who was doing amazing entries all day and constantly pleasing the crowd. Josh and I will have all the content from the entire weekend coming up very soon!
